Checklist for Presenter and Streaming role

December 2024

Before the service

Presenter

• Turn the computer on
• Make sure that the stand monitor is plugged in before turning on the other monitors
• Turn the monitors on
  • is there a correct order?
• Open WorshipTools Presenter
• Are the notices in presenter?
• Are there lyrics in the song choice?
  • Are they the same lyrics as what the band are singing?
  • Are the lyrics formatted correctly?
• Is there content in the preach?
  • When will you check about the content?
• Is there a video to play?
  • If yes, have you tested it?
  • Does it have sound?

Streaming

• Turn the tablet on
• Turn the cameras on
• Check that each camera is working and pointing in the correct direction
• Are you logged in to YouTube correctly and ready to start?
  • Need more input for how to do this…

As soon as the band finish rehearsing

Presenter and streaming together

• Tell person on sound to mute everything except the video
• Make presenter ‘Live’ on the stream deck
• Run the video notices
• Start the stream
• Cameras, is there a shot of the anchor or band (whoever is starting) on preview ready to cut to them
• When the anchor signals, start the intro video

At start of service

Presenter

• Ensure correct slide for start of service (typically welcome or blank slide)

Streaming

• When the intro video ends, cut to the anchor
• Double check that the video stream is working

During Service

Press record on the stream deck at the start of the preach

Presenter

• Ensure videos run when required
• Assist preach if problem with advancing slides
• Advance lyrics in time for congregation to worship

Streaming

• During worship, only use the camera opposite the band

End recording on the stream deck at the end of the preach

After the service

Presenter

• Make presenter live (on the stream deck)
• Play CC Logo slide for 5 minutes
  • Remind person on sound to mute all except the video
• Stop YouTube stream after 5 minutes
• Shut down computer

Emergencies

In case of an emergency, Fade To Black.
