Connect Groups are a way of helping us grow in our relationship with God, with each other, and with our ‘area’.
They are a central part of the way we do church.
This term’s Connect Groups run from the beginning of May to the end of June.
Which groups are running this term ?
You can find the list of groups on My ChurchSuite (under the My Groups tab) and below. There are a few groups that are ‘by invitation only’ – you won’t be able to see these until they actually start.
How do I join a group ?
You need to ‘sign up’ for a group – either through My Church Suite (most groups) or below (Football, Mountain Biking and the Women’s Running Group below). Some groups are already open for sign up, but others won’t be open until 7th/8th April.
Everybody needs to sign up (apart from those in the discipleship groups) – even if it is the same group that you were part of last term.
Signing up does not guarantee a place in the group … the group leader will confirm your place to you.
Don’t rush to sign up … take your time to think and pray about which group is the best fit for you this term – it may not be the same one that you have been part of in the past, or where you can serve and support the group leaders … talk to the group leaders of groups that you are interested in to find out more about them.
Please don’t leave it to the last minute to sign up … it makes it hard for the leaders to plan if they don’t think anybody is joining their group.
